Comfortably secluded down a long wooded drive, you are just a 5 minute walk to the center of Southwest Harbor. There are a variety of restaurants a grocery store, wine shop, a library with many summer programs and many other shops including a hardware store and pharmacy. The harbor is 5 minutes further with all the sights of a working New England fishing village.
Entrances to Acadia National Park are all around and you are just 25 minutes from Bar Harbor by car or 45 minutes on the free, publicly supported Island Explorer Bus Service. The bus stops at a number of locations in and around the village and covers most of the Island including many of your destinations within Acadia National Park.
